The matt white, hand-blown glass globe houses the warm white LEDs, which can be dimmed with an external dimmer. They also provide glare-free illumination of the area below as well as the immediate surroundings. A white metal disc represents the modern, purist version of a lampshade. The trendy cage look is suggested by the delicate linkage, in the middle of which the glass sphere seems to literally float. The Setareh model was designed by the Italian designer Francesco Librizzi.
