Looks like a casting issue as shown in picture. There are 3 holes for chain hanging and holes in every point of the crown for hanging crystals as shown in last picture. THIS IS A GREAT PART USED FOR HANGING CRYSTALS< PRISMS FROM IT AS SHOWN IN LAST PICTURE.
