Pair of elegant high quality Italian Regency style wall scounces made from gilt bronze. Scounces have tied ribbon bow and drapery motif on the central backplate, and feature two fluted scrolling arms terminating in acanthus leaf bobeches. There are decorative faux candle sleeves designed to hold small SES bulbs. Both scounces have “MOD DEP” to the back which is common for items made in Italy during the mid century.
